  • Coordinate and support New Hire Orientation.
  • Maintain the LMS (assignments, records, certifications) and generate training status reports.
  • Work closely with the corporate learning and development team for any training compliance needed for the facility (e.g. Cornerstone).
  • Facilitate effective communications with work centers (goals, measures, standards) and coordinate team meetings as needed.
  • Support change management, strategic planning, and auditing related to training systems.
  • Verify and validate training projects.
  • Present priorities to the site Steering Committee.
  • Create and facilitate skills gap reduction efforts and projects.
  • Measure training effectiveness, perform post-training evaluations, develop action plans, and facilitate gap closure.
  • Develop training materials and curriculum with and for subject matter experts (SMEs).
  • Select trainers/trainees and manage the training matrix for the facility.
  • Own site training matrix, develop additional matrixes as needed.
  • Manage and improve training matrix scheduling and adherence; support site leaders to achieve set targets.
  • Identify, benchmark, and maintain learning infrastructure (training rooms, conference rooms, training methods, digital training tools) to support training delivery and utilization.
  • Work closely with local and corporate leaders to develop and review effective standard operating procedures and Job Instructions within document management system.
  • Collaborate with other plant locations to address offsite training needs and share best practices.
  • Assist with the coordination and logistics of onsite training for employees from other locations.
  • Adhere to and support company quality, environmental, health & safety, and certification standards, including ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, IATF 16949:2016, and ASI Certifications, where applicable.
  • Other duties as assigned.
