Responsibilities & Qualifications

The Novelis North America team is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst. The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for managing data from various source systems through NNA Data Warehouse and delivering KPI metrics (shipment, inventory, production, on-time in-full) to regional management and business users. This role requires proficiency in SAP, legacy systems, and databases, with ability to conduct complex data extraction, analysis, and visualization. Responsibilities include developing new reports for routine and ad-hoc purposes, improving reporting processes using low-code technologies, and supporting transformation initiatives to automate manual tasks and enhance productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain documentation of business rules and IT processes required for delivering reports.
  • Complete reports and improve reporting efficiency with automation tools to eliminate manual processes.
  • Investigate and resolve data outliers due to system or process changes and monitor data quality.
  • Distribute reports, monitor usage, and gather user feedback to define needs and propose solutions.
  • Understand data elements across systems and deliver accurate interpretations to requestors.
  • Build well-managed data solutions and enable self-service frameworks for data consumers.
  • Recommend best methods considering feasibility, speed, accuracy, and relevancy of data sources.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain teams (Demand Management, Logistics, Metal Inputs, Planning) and IT teams to design and develop reports, metrics, and dashboards.
  • Extract and collect data from NNA Data Warehouse, SAP Business Objects, and Novelis Digital Analytics Platform (DAP).
  • Enhance user-friendliness and relevancy of Supply Chain solutions.
  • Use technical mastery and business knowledge to improve processes and apply technology solutions.
  • Partner with functional teams to design and develop automation tools, techniques, and solutions.
  • Create and maintain a library of Supply Chain process documents (training, reference, process descriptions).
  • Publish Supply Chain Excellence Newsletter articles to share project updates, automation tools, and guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of analytical and supply chain experience.
  • Experience manipulating, cleansing, and analyzing large datasets from data warehouses (SQL).
  • Ability to transform data and build data models using analytical tools.
  • Experience producing intelligence reporting solutions using Power BI.
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI skills.
  • Advanced in building automation tools – MS VBA, Power Automate, Alteryx.
  • Experience with querying technologies – Oracle, SQL, Access Database.
  • Working knowledge of analytics technologies – Python, R, Databricks.
  • Agile and adaptable to learning new software programs quickly.
  • Enhanced attention to detail as reports will be visible and used by all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical approach to deliver outcomes linked to business value and drive the business forward.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with business collaborators and technical teams while bridging communication gaps.

Location Profile

Novelis’ Global Corporate Headquarters is located in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta Georgia and employs approximately 250 people. It is co-located with Novelis’ North America regional office which employs approximately 225 people.
