The Berea Plant Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for metal planning, inventory control, and coordination of all Logistics and traffic functions that allows the Berea plant to manage costs and achieve production forecasts. Specifically, this position will ensure seamless integration of plant needs and input availability by working with the Scrap Champion, Corp. Supply Chain Coordinators, Corp. Metal Buyers and the Senior Supply Chain Specialist with the request of, scheduling of, Receiving and consumption of front end and furnace inputs from metal inventory and planned metal inputs.
Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or qualifying experience within a manufacturing environment.
-At least 3-5 years of related experience.
-Desire to take initiative and develop a pro-active relationship with internal and external customers
-Self-motivated and can work without direct supervision
-Knowledge of aluminum scrap, manufacturing, and recycle process
-Superior understanding of Supply Chain and Metal Inputs
-Analytical and pc skills, including advanced ability in Excel and SAP
-Excellent organizational and communication skills
-Ability to perform work accurately and independently

With 150 employees the recycling facility processes approximately 20 percent of all aluminum cans recycled in the United States each year – more than 750 million pounds.
