Responsibilities & Qualifications

The Novelis Global Manufacturing Excellence team is seeking a Sr. Analyst, Manufacturing Support, that will report to the Director of Manufacturing Support. This role will develop, launch, and manage the analytics for Global Manufacturing Support, drive transparency in both Novelis operations performance and efficiency through best process adoption with structured change management, and develop meaningful insights that support Novelis Manufacturing. The individual selected for this position will have the opportunity to engage with key global and regional Novelis collaborators on developing indicators, dashboards, reporting, tool configurations, and routines to enable data-driven decision making for Novelis Manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and apply deep technical expertise in Novelis manufacturing data architecture to design focused, scalable analytics solutions that support business objectives.
  • Create and implement processes that connect existing data sources, working closely with Novelis IT and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient analytics.
  • Balance manual and automated reporting approaches, pursuing automation where it adds measurable value and streamlining reporting efforts across platforms.
  • Configure and maintain tools and practices to support analytics workflows and meet evolving business requirements.
  • Build intuitive dashboards and reports for global and regional teams, embed KPI trends into management reviews, and drive consistency through collaboration with data stewards.
  • Align and refine performance metrics, ensure data quality, and collaborate with partners to accurately report operational efficiency and savings across initiatives.
  • Leverage advanced analytics to uncover insights into performance pipelines, reduce reporting risks, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Use storyboarding and tailored messaging to make data actionable, align cross-functional outcomes, and foster trust through clear communication and shared learnings.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a consulting or industry role, with experience in data analytics and reporting
  • 2+ years of experience in data analytics, process development, and dashboarding
  • Experience in requirements management and solution development
  • Expert level ability to analyze data sets, identify trends, and generate insights.
  • Ability to develop meaningful reports, present, and communicate clearly to senior leaders and large audiences with high engagement
  • Ability to activate experiences, pilot new programs and align leaders across function

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced skills in Office 360, PowerApps, PowerBI, and Data Lake
  • Expert level Excel (including Pivot tables)
