Position Overview

Novelis Oswego has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Planner! The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Planner is to complete the planning functions for maintenance work in an efficient and orderly manner.

Responsibilities

• Planning and scheduling of maintenance jobs for electricians and mechanics as well as contractors
• Work directly with Reliability and maintenance leaders, engineers, craftsmen and planners in other teams and areas to plan and develop schedules for maintenance and expense project work
• Provides materials, drawings, work orders, work schedules, instructions, and maintenance manuals as required
• Update and create maintenance PM’s, Work Orders, and BoM’s within SAP.
• Drive the Engineering/Maintenance equipment reliability effort
• Must work closely with all plant maintenance personnel to ensure maintenance activities are completed as planned and the equipment operates in a reliable manner

Qualifications

• Extensive Knowledge of industrial equipment and electrical/mechanical maintenance required.
• Knowledge/familiarity with SAP (or another CMMS system).
• Experience as a maintenance craftsperson, maintenance supervisor or maintenance planner required.
• Knowledge of industrial facility equipment along with compressed air, cooling water, and HVAC systems, and their maintenance practices is a plus.
• Must possess good computer skills and be willing and able to learn multiple computer systems and programs.

For this role, the pay is from  $39.32 - $46.13 USD / hour. Individual pay will vary based on qualifications, experience, and performance.
