Come join the Computer Vision team, part of the Data Science – CoE. We specialize in creating innovative computer/machine vision solutions aimed at achieving Manufacturing Excellence.  Our group develops solutions for real-time process control, industrial inspection, factory automation, and safety, utilizing classical, geometric, and deep computer vision techniques. 

We are looking for interns / co-ops with

Key job responsibilities 
 

• Assist in the design and development of computer vision algorithms and solutions.  

• Collaborate with the team to develop and implement machine learning models.  

• Research and develop methods to improve existing computer vision systems.  

• Test and debug computer vision software to ensure its functionality and reliability.  

• Assist in the collection and processing of image and video data. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate computer vision systems into broader projects. 

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.  

• Knowledge of computer vision and machine learning concepts.  

• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.  

• Familiarity with Machine Vision libraries is a plus. 

• Familiarity with Realtime systems and feedback control is a big plus. 

• Experience with computer vision libraries such as OpenCV.  

• Understanding of image processing techniques.  

• Basic knowledge of machine learning algorithms and deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.  

• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
