Responsibilities & Qualifications

 

The Novelis Global R&D Portfolio Management team is seeking a Business Analyst Intern. The person in this role will report to the Innovation Portfolio Manager. This team is responsible for coordinating between various programs across the globe to ensure that the organization is on track to meet its strategic initiatives. You will analyze internal processes, data, and problems to identify insights and recommendations for process improvements.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose areas of opportunities by analyzing the data within our portfolio management software
  • Collaborate and align with stakeholders to clearly define the business needs
  • Learn domain data and describe to stakeholders what is and is not available
  • Communicate findings in easily understood ways and connect insights to existing tools
  • Produce reports and presentations to synthesize performance indicators and provide decision analytics for management
  • Document as-is business process and the relevant data workflow flows for training

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a B.S. in business, engineering, data management, or a related discipline
  • Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills with an interest in gathering and understanding comprehensive business requirements
  • Ability to communicate complex issues and ideas with clarity
  • Strong excel skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Accolade
  • Experience with PowerBi or Tableau
  • Demonstrated experience defining and documenting business workflows, change management procedures, and data quality processes.
