Novelis in Ashville, OH has an opportunity to participate in our on-site summer 2025 internship. The team is seeking an Automation Engineering Intern, specializing in Data Analytics, that can join the team for approximately 12 weeks. The person in this role will have the opportunity to participate in relevant work and gain hands on industry experience. The person in this role will report to the Quality Manager and will gain experience with monitoring the quality data from which the organization makes informed decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Examine complex data to optimize the efficiency and qualify to the data being collected
• Resolve data quality problems
• Collaborate with developers to improve systems and database designs
• Interpret data, using statistical techniques, write and deliver reports, maintain databases and provide assistance to management

Minimum Qualifications:

• Enrolled in an accredited 4-year University.
• Must be a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or recent Graduate.
• Interested in gaining hands-on industry experience prior to graduation.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills which are essential for interacting with all levels of the organization
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prefer students majoring in Data Analytics or related fields
• Solid business insight
• Experience with SQL and Power BI

• High interest in becoming an engineering leader in a manufacturing environment
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills
