Novelis is looking for an intern to work with the Account Management Specialist Team of the Specialties commercial value stream.  The Novelis Specialties commercial team consists of three distinct market segments: Building & Construction (B&C), Light Gauge (LG) and the Industrial Products Group (IPG).  The Account Management Specialist (AMS) team is responsible for working directly with our external customers to capture demand, sanitize forecasts and enter orders/releases for production across all three market segments.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Customer Service team to support communications, order fulfillment, and other collaboration requirements.
• Collaborate with the commercial team to standardize market segment reporting across the Novelis Specialty Business Unit.
• Support with customer and material creation and master data revisions.
• Analyze, create and maintain project templates at different systems as a first step towards standardization and integration.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Enrolled in an accredited 4-year University.
• Pursuing an Undergraduate degree in Business, Sales/Marketing, or other in related areas
• Good MS Office tool kit skills, specifically PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
• Proactive and well organized and structured in their work.
• Demonstrated understanding of fundamental Business processes.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employee.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong excel experience.
• Strong self-direction to learn new computer platforms.
• ERP/System exposure a nice to have (i.e., SAP).
