Position Overview:

Novelis in Atlanta, GA has an opportunity to participate in our summer 2025 internship program. The Global Metal team is seeking a Global Recycling Intern that can join the team for approximately 12 weeks The ideal candidate will assist in the development and key analysis of scrap market intelligence in key scrap-sourcing regions. 

Responsibilities:  

• Mapping of possible sources of scrap desirable to Novelis in strategic global sourcing regions and countries including scrap type, volume, quality, and packaging.       
• Create analysis of sourcing opportunities including quality and fit within Novelis systems and processes, supported with data and visuals as needed. 

Minimum Qualifications:  

• Currently pursuing a degree in business, accounting, or engineering 
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of organizations, both within the Novelis organization as well as external to the organization.      
• Sensitive to cultural differences while engaging with possible sources across a wide geographic range and time zones.
