Position Overview

The Human Resources team, located in Atlanta, Georgia, is seeking a Sr. HRIS Technical Specialist! Guided by the HRIS Manager, the ideal candidate will have experience implementing, providing operational support for time-keeping systems, will be involved with owning the organization's global and regional technologies for core HR functions including Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Performance Management, Learning, HR Shared Services, Payroll and Employee Relations. The incumbent will implement new features and functionality to meet the needs of global business teams. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build valuable knowledge, gain multi-functional experience, and own new applications, features and functionality while supporting the needs of business teams globally.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with HR, Cross functional partners and IT teams to gather and define requirements, assist in implementing new modules, and optimize existing functionalities.
  • Develop technical design documents and ensure timely delivery of project milestones
  • Application systems analysis to analyze existing systems and applications to identify areas for improvement, optimization or integration. Make recommendations for any new technologies and technical solutions that are being developed.
  • Provide technical support for HRIS, including fixing system issues, managing system updates, and coordinating with vendors for advanced support
  • Monitor system performance and data integrations in MuleSoft middleware platform, ensuring data integrity and security within the HRIS
  • Create and maintain technical design documents for HR systems and interfaces to accommodate enhancements and business requirement changes
  • Support data migration activities during HRIS implementations, upgrades, or transitions, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Understanding business stakeholder's needs and translating them into a technical solution

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Deep technical skills, with proficiency in HRIS configuration, data management, and system integrations
  • Good understanding of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying databases, generating reports, and troubleshooting data issues
  • Familiarity with relational databases and understanding of data relationships within the HRIS
  • Experience integrating the HRIS with other business applications (e.g., payroll, ERP, timekeeping systems)
  • Familiarity with APIs and data integration tools like Mulesoft or Dell Boomi for facilitating data exchange
  • Understanding of file formats like CSV, XML, JSON for data transfer between systems
  • Solid understanding of Single Sign-On, Encryption and website certificates
  • Good technical skills in PeopleSoft or similar HRMS Systems and understanding of core HR fundamentals
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with business stakeholders and HR Analysts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of HR processes and compliance requirements
  • Good understanding of PeopleSoft application Security, GDPR compliance
  • Experience with automating HR workflows and data processing to improve efficiency
