Position Overview

Working under the Key Account Manager, it will manage and drive direct sales engagements into a set of named accounts and strategic partners. Its focus will be to develop & maintain relationships with key accounts and leverage these during the sales process, to coordinate with appropriate internal groups to generate and deliver winning contract bids and to support the daily sales activities.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

[ Principal Accountabilities ]:

Business development

  • Win new deals developed from opportunities identified with communication and negotiation
  • Develop opportunities with account planning

Deal closing

  • Lead the bidding process and clarify with customers

Relationship management

  • Understand customer’s strategy, business model, their value-add and development
  • Create solutions and aligned value-add for customer
  • Identify key decision makers and build knowledge and relationships with them

Support on internal coordination and planning

  • Collaborate with other internal functions for global account mgmt., account planning and technical issues
  • Solve ad-hoc customer issues with other internal functions

Risk Management

  • Manage the payment term effectively by checking and monitoring the account receivable and over-due accounts
  • Manage the volume of shipment timely to avoid mismatching the number of shipment vs the position of hedged metal
  • Monitor and report the move of key competitors

[ Qualifications ]:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree

Experience

  • 3+ years sales management experience with auto tier 1 suppliers

Functional Competencies

  • Understanding on the auto market, purchasing behaviors of customers, and competitor movements
  • Understanding on OEM's business and demand with interactions with various department of customer
  • Able to speak and communicate in English fluently

Behavioral Competencies

  • Strong people skills in communication, negotiation, relationship developing and maintain, intelligence collection, as well as problem defining and solving
  • Deliver results in a high-quality, time bound and cost-effective manner
  • Working in teams effectively for delivering shared goals
