Position Overview

The Supply Chain & Logistics team, located in Atlanta, Georgia, is seeking a Supply Chain Leader-Business Improvement. The SC Lead, SAP Business Improvement is responsible for leading the digitization, automation and use of analytics in the NNA supply chain. This role requires an advanced understanding of supply chain processes and how the use of digital, automation, and analytical tools can improve and transform the entire supply chain. They are Subject Matter Experts in the use of these tools and will be participating and leading projects in the Supply Chain functions.  Finally this role trains, coaches, and influences others in the use of these tools.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Data analytics: provide deep analytical insights into identified business processes and usage of tools that enable problem solving and implementation of effective resolution options.
  • Process mapping, mining, and documentation: Executes process and value stream mappings, process mining initiatives and the corresponding documentation either as part of a larger project or self-initiated
  • Tool support: Supports and drives initiatives to improve existing or new SC tools.
  • Collaboration: Consistently collaborate and interact with all SC teams and other teams to understand their requirements and pain points. Provide ideas for resolution and initiate or develop solutions using advanced analytical, process mapping and visualization tools.

 

Qualifications

  • 3-7 years of experience in Supply Chain in the manufacturing industry with exposure to one or multiple different supply chain functions (S&OP, Master Planning, Demand Planning
  • BS in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, similar discipline with exposure to supply chain and experience in process improvement methodologies, data analytics and the use of advanced analytics tools as well as ML/AI.
  • Must possess influencing skills to direct, lead and develop other personnel to accomplish personal, plant and regional objectives.
  • Excellent skills in MS Excel, Visio, PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated proficiency in analytics and visualization tools (PowerBI or Tableau)

Experience in Programming languages (R, Python, Java)

  • Excellent communication (oral and written) skills;
  • Experience in process mapping and writing Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) and Audit
  • Desire to take initiative and proactively develop relationships with Supply Chain team members, operations, recycling, and commercials teams through follow-up, understanding their needs and fostering a collaborative relationship
  • SAP, APO, Advanced Planning, and order entry systems experience preferred.
  • Ability to learn new software programs quickly
  • Lean 6 Sigma certification desirable.

Location Profile

Novelis’ Global Corporate Headquarters is located in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta Georgia and employs approximately 250 people.
