Position Overview

The Information Technology team, located in Atlanta, Georgia, is seeking a Senior Lead SAP Security. SAP Senior Lead Security will have ownership of Novelis Global SAP instance from Security perspective.

The individual will be responsible to develop strategy to facilitate deployment of SAP solution across all Novelis regions as defined in the roadmap. The person will lead efforts in conjunction with Global/Regional Business role/risk owners, SAP COE, Internal/external Auditors and 3rd party personnel to enhance the system design and continue to make it robust and efficient while staying SOX compliant.

 

Additionally, this role is responsible to participate in SAP Security conferences and stay updated on latest vulnerabilities and apply remediation to keep instance secure from any unauthorized access.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Enhance overall SAP Security strategy in alignment with business needs and IT Strategy
  • Management of upgrades to SAP Security components (GRC, ARM)
  • Lead design efforts for plants on the deployment roadmap
  • Lead for SAP SOX and internal audits, ensuring process alignment and timely response to external/internal Auditors
  • Design and implement Security in SAP S/4 HANA/BW/APO, SAP GRC & SAP Fiori
  • Analyze change requests considering current business blueprint, including impact on other areas (modules) of SAP, and other applications in the technical landscape
  • Create, maintain, and enforce policies and procedures to ensure effective provisioning, de-provisioning, and entitlements of all identities
  • Suggest and implement continuous improvement and automation opportunities as they relate to the SAP Security
  • Improve efficiency and effectiveness of Request management process
  • Manage a team of Onshore and Offshore contractors of 5-7 FTE’s and direct task assignments
  • Coordinate with SAP Project teams to ensure project and Security strategy are in alignment
  • On Critical/Urgent issues perform trouble shooting and enable quick resolution
  • Provide 2nd/3rd Level SAP Security Support for all SAP Security related incidents and activities meeting SLAs and following prescribed procedures and processes
  • Lead Quarterly user access review (UAR) process and ensure no major gaps

Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of experience in SAP Security – Leading various large scale SAP security projects, GRC implementations, security role restructures and end to end implementation projects.
  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing a team of internal and external resources of 5-7 FTE’s
  • 3+ years of experience with SAP S/4 Hana, Fiori & Hana DB security experience GRC ARM, EAM, BRF+, custom rule set required
  • 3+ years of experience working with Internal and External Auditors
  • Experience performing GRC SOD ruleset impact assessment and identify ruleset changes
  • Experience working independently to design and develop solutions to meet the business requirements
  • Experience working in a networked environment with COE, Operations, Business users and Project teams to balance priorities of both ongoing projects and operations needs
  • Effective at building relationships and communicating across all levels of an organization
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a major that supports the role
  • SAP Certification preferred (e. g. NetWeaver, Security, S4/HANA System Administration)
  • Superb communication skills (written & oral)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with a global process manufacturing company is preferred
  • ITIL Foundation Certification preferred
