Position Overview

The Human Resources team, located in Atlanta, Georgia, is seeking a Sr. Manager, Learning & Development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering learning programs and organizational interventions for the business across multiple modalities – in person and digital.  We seek a seasoned professional that is up to date in the future of learning, has worked with senior levels of the organization and has a subject matter expertise in leadership and functional development.  Experience in facilitating executive level team dynamics interventions is strongly preferred.  This is a highly visible role who will help transform the current offerings for Novelis.  Additionally, this position will be accountable for understanding the learning needs of the business and coordinating globally on the design of interventions.  The position also acts as a liaison for Novelis to ABG (parent company) - level learning initiatives.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Help build out a newly formed Global learning COE including learning process improvements, portfolio creation, and product execution strategy.
  • Work with senior leaders to understand business challenges and create and execute learning programs and team interventions.
  • Design the learning roadmap for Novelis globally by collaboration with the Regions, Businesses and Functional stakeholders.
  • Create the executive level development curricula, across a variety of modalities.
  • Ability to facilitate executive level learning interventions as needed.
  • Work with Novelis parent company, ABG Learning & Development teams, and external vendors to procure and design solutions as needed
  • Key success factors for the role are deep subject matter expertise, comfort with executive interactions, ability to assess capability needs and propose solutions

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • 12+ years of Leadership development, professional development, or business functional development experience, preferably in a variety of clients and industries
  • Having held organizational development roles as well as learning roles across industries will be preferred.
  • Global experience in execution of learning interventions
  • Ability to diagnose organizational challenges using diagnostics and propose solutions
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent stakeholder management

Location Profile

Novelis’ Global Corporate Headquarters is located in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta Georgia and employs approximately 250 people. It is co-located with Novelis’ North America regional office which employs approximately 225 people.
