Sustainability Manager (m/f/d)

What awaits you:

• You oversee our regional decarbonization agenda, containing ambitious short term CO2 reduction goals and a long-term target of reaching a net-zero carbon emissions balance.
• You refine sustainability related KPIs along with data monitoring solutions to facilitate decision-making and drive desired outcomes, ensuring data transparency throughout the process.
• You act as our Regional Carbon Accounting Manager and will work closely with the Global Carbon Accounting Manager to develop globally aligned frameworks, processes, and tools for managing supply chain GHG data collection and analysis, ensuring compliance with the GHG protocol and ISO standards.
• You support the Value Streams in proposing high-recycled-content alloys and providing environmental metrics disclosures to customers. Furthermore, you engage in selected customer and supplier meetings as a sustainability subject matter expert.
• You represent Novelis in sustainability related Industry Association working groups.
• You collaborate closely with the global Sustainability and Strategy teams on governance-related matters, while also partnering with the European communications and governmental affairs teams.

How you convince us:

• You have a university degree in Business Administration, International Business or any Technical degree
• You bring at least 5 years of working experience in sustainability, ideally in the metals industry
• Experience in life cycle assessment methodology and carbon accounting is a plus
• Commercial background in a diverse manufacturing business serving multiple customers and markets is a plus
• You are able to work in a broad scope environment and to drive change
• You are business fluent in English, French, German and Italian language skills are a plus
